ENOUGH SAID (2013) – My rating: 7.5/10

EnoughSaidA nice romantic movie with a different perception.   James Gandolfini‘s second to last movie plays Albert, along with Julia Louis-Dreyfus who plays Eva, strikes up a relationship that explores middle age and some of the problems that comes with starting over.  Not that this hasn’t been done before, it just explores some realities we don’t always think about.  Albert is balding and fat.  Eva is lonely and skeptical.  Together they have to over come issues that wouldn’t have been given a second thought to when they were younger.  Each has a college age daughter, so they’re about to be more alone than ever.  This is a nice, quiet film that delivers it’s points oh so subtly, especially concerning Eva.  I really enjoyed Enough Said and thought it just quiet enough to be entertaining and thought provoking.  Enough Said is currently on DVD and is worth a peek.  BTW:  James Gandolfini has 2 more films being released in 2014 (Criminal Justice and The Drop).
